The Feasibility Study can be used as a tool for making decisions on how to finance a major project, to determine the impact financing a major project would have on rates, and may also be required in many cases by public or private financial agencies funding the project. Changes can be made in the financial model to evaluate funding options such as loans, grants and use of the utilities’ own money.
